A place for friends to stay close and strangers to become friends.
HeyaPosted: 2008-07-17 11:19:39

Sorry I haven't written in a while, I've been pretty busy. I just gatta say Woohoo!!! Diablo 3 was announced :D It's been a long time waiting, but I'm excited for it :D I started playing Diablo 2 again in anticipation of D3. Carrying on... Things have been going pretty good. Working out at Stratford this week, and I actually haven't been doing a whole lot and getting paid $16/hr to do it :D Should be a pretty nice paycheck.

Some bad news, my grandma found out she has Breast Cancer last week. She is having a lumpectomy on July 31st. This is also the grandma who just lost her husband (my grandpa that I wrote about a while ago), so it's hitting hard for a lot of my family. So that kinda sucks... But other than that, things are good. I am going to River Falls tomorrow morning to usher for a friends wedding on Saturday. Johanna is coming to the wedding too, so I'm really looking forward to seeing her again :D This wedding kicks off the month straight of weddings I have... It'll fly by

I'm looking forward to the end of summer and actually having time to do stuff. The end of this summer is ganna suck, let me just tell you :P Lots of work, not so great pay, and a pain in my back :( Oh well, life goes on...

2 years goes by so fastPosted: 2008-07-03 07:12:48

Well, today I am writing you from my lovely girlfriends house. I am up at her house for the 4th because the 5th is our 2 year anniversary! I can't believe it's been 2 years already! As gifts, we decided that we were going to give each other rings, which I think is really cool. We didn't wanna wait until the 5th to show them to eachother, so we had a show and tell session yesterday when she got home from work. They are awesome :D

Other than that, things have been going good. I got my second shot in my back on Tuesday morning, and hopefully this one takes care of the rest of my problems *crosses fingers* Well, that's all for now methinks.

Yo!Posted: 2008-06-26 11:23:37

So, with that nice semi-dark post looming on my front page, I thought I would put some happier news up here :D As of about 5 minutes ago, I have reopened Star Trek on Fallenscribe for all you Trekkies out there :P I plan on keeping up with the news a bit better, and I am looking for help to do so. If someone wants to help me, just let me know! Also, I will be redoing the layout sometime later, as I really don't like what is there now...

How much things meanPosted: 2008-06-23 12:06:29

I don't think people realize how much they take for granted and how much they love someone until they are gone. Recently, if you remember, I lost my Grandpa. Lately, I have been thinking about him quite often, and I realize how much he meant to me and how much I truly do miss him. His jokes, his laugh, his sense of humor, his outlook on life, his determination, will to live, and more. I only wish that I can be even half the man that he was.

I was watching Gladiator the other day, and I actually started crying when Russel Crowe died, because it brought back memories of the funeral and the American Legion and VFW salutes to him. I usually am not that way, but it just goes to show how much I actually miss him.

Not quite the same thing, but Johanna and I haven't seen each other for over a week, and we still have 2 to go before we can see each other again. It's very hard to go from seeing each other every day to seeing each other every 3rd weekend. You don't really appreciate the time you have together until you can't be together anymore. One of my friends is going through this as well, so we are kinda keeping each other company through the summer ;) Shout out to Megan G. ;)

So, the storale of the morey is (yes, that was on purpose) to cherish every moment with those you love and those you consider your friends. You never know when those moments will cease to exist and fade into memories.

Good weekendPosted: 2008-06-16 11:20:51

This last weekend was pretty awesome. We had AWESOME seats at the Brewers game on Friday (15 rows up from 1st base). They got their asses kicked, but it was a great time all the same. Johanna and I had a blast, especially her, because it was her first game in Miller Park. Friday night did have a down though; on the way to get a midnight snack, we got in a little fender bender. It doesn't look too bad, but it was an accident nonetheless. Kinda sucked :P

Saturday was fun, the wedding was great. I got to see a lot of people that I haven't seen in a long time, and we had a blast. It was a good weekend for a wedding, too. Sunday was good, got a good idea of what to get Johanna for our 2 year anniversary, so I would count it as a good day :P Other than that, nothing much is new. This week will be the week from hell, as we are in Marathon doing network updates. I probably won't be posting much, because I will be working hard and sleeping very little.
